Perhaps one of my favorite to date–these daisies seem to pop out of their navy field.
Lessons Learned:
Contrasting values can create a vivid design that pops.
Solid fabric really shows off quilting designs. And, it makes mistakes very obvious.
I used a chalk stencil that marked out each navy square in a quadrant. This helped me keep my place and keep the daisy petals ‘close’ to consistent.
