The latest project to come out of my studio is a woolly upcycle. These mittens are made from felted wool sweaters and lined with fleece. The cashmere feels amazing and the custom knit sweaters are super cute. There’s a little of everything in this first batch!
Besides wanting to sell some handcrafted work, I also wanted to create with the intention of giving back. I’m always wishing I had more money to give to this or that nonprofit or to help support a student working her way through school. To follow through on that desire, I’m committing half of my profits to humanitarian work and local nonprofits.
