Grace’s Doll Quilt

I didn’t really want to give this one away. It’s so bright and cheery! However, it’s a doll quilt that matches my niece’s baby quilt, so she simply has to have it. Both versions are inspired by Rachel’s tutorial at Stitched in Color. I quilted this on my domestic machine and got some great practice on feathers and flowers.

Lessons Learned:

Match the bobbin thread to your top thread or bits of the bobbin thread will show through and create distracting speckles on the design. See below:
