For my cousin’s twins arriving this March, my mom and I created some coordinated blankets. It was super fun sewing with my mom, and we got some practice with modern design, minky fabric, and quilting with a walking foot.
We created these soft blankets by sewing the pieced top to the minkie, right sides together, then turning it right-side-out and sewing once more around the edge. We lightly quilted them on our domestic machines.
