If you’re in need of some instant gratification, put away that queen-sized project and make a pot holder. Think of these blocks like speed intervals: you can’t run a marathon at this sprint pace, but the practice improves your long-distance time. And, the more I free motion quilt, the more I realize I need to practice, practice, practice.
These pot holders were part of an experiment to see what I could do with the walking foot. Also, they happen to match the fabric I used to make my sister-in-law a very cute apron. Who doesn’t love coordinated kitchen accessories?
